Pap Smears

A pap smear is a screening test used to detect potentially pre-cancerous and cancerous processes in the endocervical canal of the female reproductive system. Changes can be treated, thus preventing cervical cancer. We recommend that you see your GP at least every two years for your regular check up remembering that early detection is the key, unless otherwise indicated.
